INEC RESIDENT COMMISSIONER IN KANO, WIFE AND TWO KIDS DIE IN FIRE INCIDENT

The Kano State Resident Electoral Commissioner of the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) in Kano State, Mikaila Abdulahi who conducted the Presidential and National Assembly elections in the state on 28th March has died in a fire at his home in the early hours of Friday.

Also killed in the fire are Mikaila Abdulahi's wife and two kids. It is yet unknown the circumstances leading to the fire incident , whether any foul play is involved or not.

The police has however confirmed the death of the Resident Commission in a fire incident.
