Jurassic World may have been a box office success, but it has drawn heavy criticism for its sexist portrayal of the lead female character. Bryce Dallas Howard's Claire Dearing is not only a woman who won't drink tequila because she's on a diet, she's a lady who wears peachy-pink high heels while running away from malicious dinosaurs in jungle terrain because, you know, that's the practical thing to wear. Though the AV Club wonders if Claire's heels are actually a "sly feminist statement," we're going to side with Josh Whedon on this one.
Given the debate, Chicago-based group XVP Comedy has found a way to equal the playing field. If Howard's character must wear heels, then all the characters in the Jurassic Park franchise should wear heels, too, including the dinosaurs.
