Oolong tea is a product made from the leaves, buds, and stems of the Camellia sinensis plant, which is the same plant that is used to make popular teas like green and black tea. Oolong tea gets its color and taste by drying tea leaves in the hot sun. 
Not only is oolong tea a healthy beverage alternative, but Regina Fazzini, a New York-based nutritionist, says that it's also great for promoting weight loss and a healthy metabolism, too! 

"Like green tea, oolong tea is rich in catechins, which have been found to play an important role in the body," she tells SheFinds. "They can even help boost your metabolism and help your body burn calories better and more efficiently."
